Kendrick Perkins, Rajon Rondo, Jeff GreenKendrick Perkins seems to have gotten himself into some trouble in Houston, Texas.

The former Celtic posted a $1,000 bond early Thursday morning on a misdemeanor assault charge, according to KHOU in Houston. Court documents say that Perkins is accused of punching a woman and her brother outside of a nightclub back in July.

The case was initially dismissed, but Perkins and his brother-in-law, Quincy Alpough, were charged when it was re-filed.

A woman named Miketta Cotton told police that she and her brother were leaving Nox nightclub when their car and another vehicle “backed into each other.”

Cotton said she got out of the car to talk to the male driver, and that’s when a female got out of the vehicle, pulled back her hair and started taking off her jewelry “like she was ready to fight.” Cotton said she calmed the woman down, but then Alpough got out of the car and pushed her.

When he saw his sister being pushed, Ja’Keenan Cotton got out of the car to check on him, according to the report. That’s when Cotton said Perkins got out of the other car and punched him in the head, causing him to fall down. Cotton said Perkins then punched his sister in the face with a closed fist and caused her to fall down.

Perkins is averaging 4.2 points and six rebounds per game this season with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
