LeBron James is allowed to be a little cocky after winning two NBA titles in a row. But he didn’t do much to stall the crowd of King James-haters with this clip.
Somebody from the NBA media team tracked James down in a hotel recently as he walked around, shirtless, presumably after a game. He was asked whether he and his teammates talk about winning three championships in a row, or, as Heat president Pat Riley famously has trademarked it, “three-peat”-ing.
“Do we talk about it? Of course we talk about it,” LeBron responds. “Of course we do. We’re going to three-peat, man. What else we going to do?”
