There’s no love lost when the Patriots and Jets meet on the field, and the same could be said for off the field as well. When the two division rivals play, there’s usually a good bit of extracurricular activity in the stands and in the parking lot.

That may have gone to a new level at MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon where the Jets beat the Patriots in an overtime thriller. However, things got way too carried away in a fight on the concourse of the Jets’ stadium.

In a video that started to circulate the Internet in earnest on Monday morning, a group of fans from both teams got into a bit of a scuffle. Things got really out of hand thanks to a man wearing a Wayne Chrebet Jets jersey. After getting tangled up with a group of presumably Patriots fans, that Jets fan was pulled away from the grappling match. That, however, isolated the hothead, and a female Patriots fan went after the man. She ran after him, jumped at him and swung her hands a couple of times obviously trying to land a punch.

The most solid punch came from the man’s hand, it appears. After being attacked by the woman, the man appears to defend himself by taking a swing at the woman. He also appears to connect.
