It’s not quite a playoff beard, but Bruins fans should get used to seeing a little extra facial hair on the B’s in the coming days.
As they have in the past, the Bruins will once again be taking part in Movember. The initiative is set up to raise money for men’s health issues, and it calls on participants to grow mustaches for the entire month of November. All told, 10 Bruins will grow mustaches during November.
Patrice Bergeron, Shawn Thornton, Milan Lucic, Gregory Campbell, Matt Bartkowski, Chris Kelly, David Krejci, Brad Marchand, Dougie Hamilton, Daniel Paille and Chris Kelly will all don a lip sweater for Movember.
Those players will get their shave following the Bruins’ game with the Ducks on Thursday, and Gillette will donate $1,000 to start the donations.
