Patrice Bergeron Takes ‘Full Responsibility’ on Delay of Game Penalty Late in Third Period (Video)

Penalties plagued the Bruins in the final moments of Saturday’s game against the Devils, allowing New Jersey to claw their way back into the game and eventually pull off the come-from-behind victory.

All four of the Devils’ goals came on the power play, with two of them coming late in the third period. After Torey Krug earned a four-minute penalty for high-sticking, Patrice Bergeron joined him in the box soon afterward, leading to the Devils scoring twice in the final 1:08 of the game.

It was a rough loss for the B’s, and one that left Bergeron with a bad taste in his mouth. Check out the above video to hear what Bergy had to say after the game.
