FOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots have released Marquice Cole for the second straight Friday.

Cole was cut last Friday as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury. Kanorris Davis took his spot on the roster and played gunner on punt coverage.

The Patriots now have two open spots on the roster. They released Zach Sudfeld, placed Vince Wilfork on injured reserve and signed Austin Collie on Thursday.
