Throwing touchdowns has just become too easy for Peyton Manning, so the Broncos decided to spice things up on Sunday evening.
Fooling everyone at AT&T Stadium — including the cameraman — Manning managed to pull off a play almost as impressive as his streak of 20 touchdown passes without an interception. During the second quarter, Manning took the snap on 3rd-and-goal and eventually made the entire Cowboys defense look downright silly.
The Broncos quarterback faked a handoff on the play and proceeded to roll out, running a naked bootleg for the one-yard score with only seconds remaining in the half. The surprising feat marked Manning’s first rushing touchdown in five years, with his last one coming on Oct. 27, 2008 against the Titans.
