The sparks were flying even before Florida and Arkansas took the field in Gainesville on Saturday.

A banner plane crashed down near Florida’s Flavet Field, which is a popular tailgating spot, a few hours before the two teams kicked off, according to WUFT. There were two people inside the plane when it crashed. Both pilots were ejected in the crash but no serious injuries were reported.

The plane landed upside down on top of a silver pickup truck in a parking area adjacent to the field, slamming down on the truck’s roof and turning the vehicle on its side. The field is just the west of Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, where the game was played.

The game got underway on time. The Gators pulled out a 30-10 win to move to 4-1 on the season.
