Red SoxIf everything goes the Red Sox’ way, Thursday evening will be wide open for trick-or-treating, with the Sox having sewn up the World Series at Fenway Park on Wednesday night. Even if everything doesn’t turn out perfectly, though, there’s a good way to combine baseball and Halloween for a night of orange festivity as the Sox aim to win in seven.

The Red Sox are giving fans a hand with their pumpkin-carving needs this season, offering some templates that folks can download to make their homes the ultimate BoSox destination this week. There are a couple of super-intricate designs — who could go wrong try to carve the entire Red Sox insignia or American League champions logo? — but help is also provided for simple socks, the B logo or a beard outline (looks like Mike Napoli from here).

Zip over to the Red Sox’ pumpkin carving page for the templates, and be sure to read the safety instructions at this time of fall and Fall Classic giddiness.
