Aqib TalibAfter Aqib Talib avoided talking to the media all week, his status for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins was looking bleak.

Talib is “likely to miss” Sunday’s game, according to Pro Football Talk. Talib suffered a strained hip flexor two weeks ago against the Saints.

The Patriots will be without Tommy Kelly and Leon Washington, both of whom have been ruled out with knee and ankle injuries, respectively. Danny Amendola is expected to play as he recovers from a concussion he suffered against New Orleans.

Last week, Logan Ryan got the bulk of snaps in Talib’s place. The rookie took back an interception 79 yards for a touchdown.
