Looking for a quarterback in a pinch? Forget Tim Tebow — try Brett Favre!

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Rams, who are suddenly without Sam Bradford due to a season-ending injury to his ACL, have reached out to the 44-year-old quarterback, but the Packers legend is not interested.

Favre showed several times near the end of his career that he was up for a return even when it looked most unlikely, so it’s not strange that someone would at least ask.

After Favre was indecisive about whether he’d return to the Packers, Green Bay moved on to Aaron Rodgers, and Favre played another three years in the NFL for the Jets and the Vikings. He wasn’t that bad, racking up 10,183 yards and 66 touchdowns over those three seasons, but near the end, his body was clearly unable to keep up with the punishment it was taking.
