Austin CollieThe Patriots finally added a veteran receiver.

The team has signed former Colts wide receiver Austin Collie, according to Field Yates of ESPN.com and confirmed by a NESN.com source. Collie was spotted at Patriots practice wearing No. 10.

Collie spent the first four years of his career with Indianapolis. He has 173 career receptions for 1,845 yards with 16 touchdowns. The 6-foot, 204-pound receiver spent training camp with the 49ers. He has been plagued by concussions his entire career.

It appeared the Patriots might be low on receivers after Aaron Dobson went down Sunday night with a neck injury. Dobson has been practicing with the team, though.
