St. Louis Weatherman Rips Cardinals’ Offensive Struggles, Rants About Scoring Woes on Air (Video)

Thursday is not a good day to be a St. Louis Cardinals fan.

The Cards’ season ended with a 6-1 loss at Fenway Park on Wednesday, closing out a series in which the St. Louis offense — among baseball’s best during the regular season — was largely held in check. Mike Matheny‘s club was limited to two runs or fewer in four of the six World Series games, including just one in Games 5 and 6.

This fact was not lost on fans of the Redbirds, including FOX 2 meteorologist Glenn Zimmerman, who launched into a mini-tirade about the team’s struggles at the plate during his weather report for the St. Louis news station Wednesday afternoon.

Check it out in the video below, with a hat tip to The Big Lead.

(UPDATE: The meteorologist in the video was originally identified by the incorrect name. We apologize for the error.)
