The magic never stopped this season for the Boston Red Sox, and on Wednesday night, this special group of 25 guys were crowned World Series champs.
NESN’s Don Orsillo caught up with Red Sox chairman Tom Werner during the postgame festivities on the field to get his insight on the remarkable season that was.
Werner praised Boston’s never-say-die attitude, the ability of any guy on the squad to play the role of a hero and the way this team wasn’t scared of any competition they faced throughout the postseason. From David Price and the Rays to Max Scherzer and the Tigers all the way to Adam Wainwright and the Cardinals, the Red Sox showed no fear going up against their opponent’s aces.
