Tyler SeguinSo this is what happens when Tyler Seguin doesn’t sleep through his alarm in Winnipeg.

The new Dallas Stars forward scored his first goal with his new team on Friday night against the Jets. He then added another one and added two assists as part of a four-point night in Dallas’ win.

It was the first four-point game of Seguin’s career, and he did his damage playing center for the Stars. While Seguin never really got the chance to play center for the Bruins, the Stars traded for him during the summer with the intent of having him play there. So far, so good, apparently.

After the game, Seguin was a pretty popular man among the media gathering. As he spoke to reporters about his impressive performance, a teammate placed a Stars cowboy hat upon his head. Seguin finished the media sesssion with the cowboy hat on with a brief pause as someone shouted “Yeehaw” in the background.
