The jubilation of that first win did not last long down in Jacksonville.

After beating the Titans last Sunday to snap a 13-game losing streak, the Jaguars promptly dropped a 27-14 decision at home to the Cardinals to fall to 1-9 on the season. Empty seats were a theme again at EverBank Field — just 59,862 fans showed up, far below the stadium’s capacity of 76,867 — but one anonymous advertiser has an idea for how to fill the park to the brim.

A large ad appeared in a Florida newspaper on Monday imploring Jags owner Shahid Khan — for about the 10,000th time — to sign NFL castoff Tim Tebow.

It’s a valiant effort by “the citizens of Jacksonville,” but the Jaguars are a team that has chosen to watch Chad Henne and Blaine Gabbert flounder under center for the last two months rather than make a run at Tebow. It appears that nothing short of divine intervention will bring Florida’s favorite son back home.

The mustache is a nice touch, though.

Check out the ad below, with a hat tip to SB Nation.
