Apparently, Danny Woodhead‘s success in San Diego this season is gaining him some celebrity fans.
The former Patriots running back has become one of Philip Rivers‘ favorite targets in his first season with the Chargers, hauling in a team-high 53 catches for 408 yards and four touchdowns through nine games. That appears to have caught the eye of Academy Award-winning actress Anne Hathaway, who was recently spotted wearing a Woodhead No. 39 jersey while she was out walking her dog.
This is a far cry from Woodhead’s early days in New England, when he could work for hours at Modell’s without being recognized.
