The Iron Bowl lived up to its billing as Alabama and Auburn kept the nation on edge with a back-and-forth shootout that concluded in the craziest, and therefore most fitting way, possible.

With the game tied at 28-28, one second was added to the game clock after officials reviewed an out of bounds play. Alabama took a gamble, opting to take their chances on a 57-yard field goal, but the play did not go as Nick Saban drew it up.

Unsurprisingly, the kick was short, but Auburn cornerback Chris Davis was in the end zone, ready for that possibility. Davis fielded the kick deep in the end zone and took off down the sidelines, blowing by all of the Crimson Tide defenders to take it all the way back for the game-winning score, sending the state of Alabama into an absolute frenzy as Auburn went on to win 34-28.
