Berkshire Bank Exciting Rewind: Bruins’ Patience on Power Play Pays Off to Even Score Against Hurricanes (Video)

The Bruins struggled on the power play last season, so improving in that area was a point of emphasis in the offseason.

The B’s have seen a fair amount of success scoring on the power play, and on Saturday they showed why. Down by a goal in the first period, the B’s worked the puck from side-to-side on the power play, creating space. After the Hurricanes failed to clear the puck cleanly, the Bruins made them pay for their mistake.

During the 2013-14 regular season, Berkshire Bank Foundation will donate $200 for each successful penalty kill by the Bruins to Habitat for Humanity.
