Berkshire Bank Rewind: Perfect Give-and-Go Leads to Bobby Orr’s Stanley Cup-Winning Goal Against Blues (Video)

Boston Bruins legend Bobby Orr leaping through the air after his famous goal to win the 1970 Stanley Cup over the St. Louis Blues is one of the most iconic images in the history of sports.

It started with a great pinch by Orr, who passed the puck to Derek Sanderson below the goal line. Sanderson then completed a quick give-and-go with Orr, who shot the puck past Blues goaltender Glenn Hall to kick off the celebration at the old Boston Garden.

As of March 30, the Berkshire Bank Foundation has raised $11,500 for Cradles to Crayons, which provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive -- at home, at school and at play.



Earlier this season, the foundation raised $10,000 for Soldier On, a private nonprofit organization committed to ending veteran homelessness, and $12,100 for Birthday Wishes, a non-profit organization with a mission to provide birthday parties to children experiencing homelessness.
