BOSTON — The Bruins will join sports teams across the country in honoring the armed forces on Monday when they take the ice for pregame warmups.

The Bruins will be wearing special camouflage sweaters during their pregame warmups Monday afternoon before taking on the Tampa Bay Lightning at TD Garden.

With Monday being Veterans Day, it’s only fitting that the Bruins will be hosting Military Appreciation Day. In addition to the camo jerseys, Bruins players Matt Bartkowski, Johnny Boychuk, David Krejci, Torey Krug and Dennis Seidenberg purchased $2,500 worth of tickets that will be given to local military members and their families.

The military jerseys will also be raffled off.
