Add “skating off the ice with ridiculous amounts of blood gushing from near his eyeball” to Chris Neil’s list of talents.
The Ottawa Senators forward got on the wrong end of a pass from Erik Karlsson on Thursday night and was left with quite the bloody mess. Neil quickly made his way off the ice to clean up the gash, which stretched from above his eyebrow to the bottom of his nose.
Neil returned after one shift, and the Senators beat the Canadiens 4-1.
