The Bruins’ lopsided loss on Wednesday night now looks like a minor speed bump in what ended up being a very successful week for the B’s, as they took three games out of four in the seven-day stretch.
Boston wrapped up the month of November with a commanding win over the Blue Jackets, dominating for the majority of the game and cruising along to a 3-1 victory. After the Bruins’ effort came under scrutiny following their 6-1 loss in Detroit on Wednesday, the black and gold showed that was an aberration by turning things around with back-to-back wins on Friday and Saturday.
Head coach Claude Julien was proud of his team against the Rangers, and he was proud of his team against Columbus, applauding their 60-minute efforts in both contests.
