David Krejci‘s overtime game-winner to lift the Bruins past the Hurricanes was skilled, impressive and easy?
The center spoke with some serious modesty after the game, downplaying any praise that was directed his way for the goal, countering with, “yeah, it was easy, it just happened and I was there.”
After Jarome Iginla got the play rolling with some remarkable stickhandling, Iginla found Krejci streaking down the ice, but No. 46 didn’t rush his shot. Showing tremendous patience and unleashing a nifty move, Krejci waited for Cam Ward to bite before sending the puck into the back of the net.
