Former Boston College Eagles and New England Patriots Fred Smerlas and Steve DeOssie welcome the Wicked Bites crew to their Twin River Casino restaurant, Fred & Steve’s Steakhouse, this weekend on NESN.

Both members of BC’s athletic Hall of Fame, Smerlas and DeOssie both finished their careers in New England. Smerlas spent his final two seasons with the Pats, retiring in 1992, while DeOssie played for the Patriots in 1994 and 1995 before hanging up his spikes.

Fred & Steve’s is known for its fantastic cuts of steak and fresh seafood, where diners can expect the “ultimate steakhouse experience” less than 10 miles from Providence.

Also in the third episode, Kane’s Donuts in Saugus, Mass., is spotlighted.

Tune in to Wicked Bites at Noon ET on Saturday on NESN.
