Aaron RodgerThis move will either be one of the greatest prophecies of our time or set this kid up for a lifetime of disappointment.

A couple from Green Bay, Wisc., welcomed a baby boy into the world on Sunday, so they probably already had football on the brain. When the two, who are lifelong Packers fans, found out that their bundle of joy had been born with a broken left collarbone, they named him after their team’s franchise quarterback — Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers is currently sidelined with the exactly same injury.

Aaron Rodger Dryer weighed in at eight pounds, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, and the baby’s father, Kyle Dryer, told the paper that he anticipates that his son will be “taking snaps” at some point in his life.

Little Aaron was born a few weeks early and his parents hadn’t settled on a name yet. When the nurse told them that their son had a broken collarbone, it didn’t take them long to decide on a name.

“I’m pretty sure he will be proud of it,” Aaron’s mother, Kristal Tyczkowski told the paper.

According to the couple’s doctor, collarbone injuries are pretty common in newborns and they typically heal easily and completely within a few weeks.

Tyczkowski and Dryer also told the paper they were considering names from the popular book series “Harry Potter.”
