High School Football Rivalries at Their Peak During Thanksgiving Day on Throwback Thursday (Video)

Football and Thanksgiving go together almost as well as turkey and Thanksgiving.

Some high school football players have to hold off on the feast, though, as they partake in the longstanding tradition of playing on Turkey Day. With family, friends and former players back in town, the games seem to possess a little extra enthusiasm from the crowd and a lot more intensity from the teams, as the matchups feature the best of the best of high school rivalries.

Check out highlights in the above video from Plymouth South vs. Plymouth North (2005), East Boston vs. South Boston (2006), Boston Latin vs. Boston English (2006) and Natick vs. Framingham (2006).
