Now that baseball season is over, MLB players have got plenty of time on their hands, and some are using the extra hours to stay caught up on various sports.

Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter made his way to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for the highly anticipated Alabama-LSU college football game Saturday, and was spotted on both sides of the field before the game prior to heading up to a suite.

Jeter wasn’t the only high-profile athlete in attendance, though. World Series champion Red Sox pitcher Jake Peavy also took in the Alabama win from the stands. The Mobile, Ala., native joined the set of ESPN’s College Game Day earlier in the day as the guest picker during the prediction segment.

Peavy correctly picked Alabama to win the game saying, “With A.J. McCarron, a good buddy of mine, with this crowd, there’s no way Alabama loses tonight, y’all. Roll Tide.”
