Jaromir Jagr Becomes Eighth Player to Reach 1,700 Points With Fifth Goal of Season (Video)

Jaromir Jagr added yet another bullet point to his impressive resume on Sunday night.

The 41-year-old winger didn’t wait long to reach his latest milestone, scoring just 90 seconds into the game against the Predators to record his fifth goal of the season. Although Jagr’s shot marked his team-leading 12th point of the season, it more importantly served as the 1,700th point of his career.

Jagr became just the eighth player in league history to reach that mark, and the first European to ever do so.

Point No. 1,700 was also goal No. 686 for Jagr, leaving him just 14 goals short of becoming the seventh player ever to join the elite 700 club — a selective group he’ll likely be a part of by the end of the year.
