It’s Martin St. Louis‘ night and he’ll fall down if he wants to.

The Lightning were on the road last week when the winger played in his 1,000th NHL game, so the team took some time out on Monday night to honor their star at home with a pregame ceremony. The captain’s special night continued once the game began too, as St. Louis netted his ninth goal of the season during the first period, beating Henrik Lundqvist on a breakaway.

The Rangers goaltender proved to be no problem for St. Louis, but it was the ice that ended up causing some issues for him. Confirming that no amount of games played makes celebrations any easier, the Lightning star gave a fist pump for the ages, causing him to lose his balance and go into a nifty spin move on the ice after wiping out.

Check out St. Louis taking a spill in the GIF below with a fist bump to SB Nation.
