Michael Jordan’s Heroics in ‘Space Jam’ Chronicled in Awesome ‘30 for 30’ Fake Documentary (Video)

Space Jam changed a lot of people’s lives, especially people who were kids in the 1990s.

But as a new faux documentary from the geniuses at Yahoo! Sports shows, the impact was far wider than just children — former NBA players, current analysts and legends of the game will all talk about how epic it was when Michael Jordan and the Tune Squad took down the Monstars.

That’s right — the look back at Space Jam in a spoof of ESPN’s lauded 30 for 30 series is not a telling of what the film meant to society, but rather of the impact of the game within the film (the one with the cartoon characters, mind you).

Yahoo! really pulled out the stops on this one, with Kurt Rambis, Greg Anthony, Doug Gottlieb and more lending their expert analysis to the masterful take on the movie. It’s a great take that should make fans of the original remember why it was so classically ’90s awesome.
