NESN’s Bethany Marshall was the recipient of the Emerging Leader (Individual) award at the 2013 Women in Cable Television (WICT) New England Evening of Excellence on Thursday night at Fenway Park.
Marshall, a senior producer/writer at NESN, was one of five NESN employees to be nominated for an award. Chris Kung (Technical Achievement Award), Eric Haugen (Emerging Leader — management), Rose Mirakian-Wheeler (Career Achievement) and Justine Pouravelis (Touchstone Award) were also nominated for prestigious awards.
Marshall has been responsible for many of NESN’s on-air and online video promotions including “TC’s Journey” and the Red Sox Player Profiles page.
The pool of nominees represented other media outlets such as Comcast, ESPN, Cox and Time Warner. Check out a photo of the group that represented NESN on Thursday evening below.
