Peyton ManningThe NFL is flexing its muscle and bumping the Packers and the Giants out of the Sunday Night Football slot in Week 11.

The Broncos will take on the Chiefs in Week 11, and that game will now be in prime time at 8:30 p.m. ET on Sunday. Nov. 17 on NBC. The Packers-Giants matchup will move to 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX, according to NFL.com

The NFL certainly considers its audience when making moves like this — if the Chiefs beat the Bills this Sunday, they will be 9-0 heading into the Denver game, while the Broncos could be 8-1 if they take out San Diego. Fans will be spared watching a struggling Giants squad in prime time.

From Week 11 through Week 17, the league has the option to shift teams into both prime time and late-afternoon starts using its flex TV schedule.
