Jonathan MartinIf Jonathan Martin does play football again, safe money says it will not be for the Dolphins.

The offensive lineman left the team two weeks ago amid allegations of being bullied, and ESPN’s Lisa Salters reports, via a “source close to the player,” that Martin’s time in Miami is likely finished.

Salters also reported Monday that Martin — who found his year and a half with the team to be “unbearable,” according to the source — is not expected to return to the NFL this season.

Teammate Richie Incognito, the alleged ringleader of the hazing that forced Martin away, addressed the allegations during an interview with FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer on Sunday, saying that his vulgar voice mail to Martin that has since become public was a joke between friends.

Martin has yet to address the situation publicly, but FOX Sports’ Mike Garafolo reports that the lineman is expected to do so via video statement later this week.
