Super Bowl Ravens Celebration FootballThis is becoming a serious and unwelcome trend in the NFL.

After a Buffalo Bills fan fell from the upper deck at Ralph Wilson Stadium last Sunday, two more fans suffered similar falls on Sunday. One took place in Oakland, where a man was injured after bracing the fall of a woman dropping from the third deck at O.Co Stadium. The other happened in Baltimore, where a 48-year-old man fell in the upper deck at M&T Bank Stadium, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Dan Clark, 48, of Ferndale, Md., fell to the bottom of a staircase in the upper deck late in the first half of Sunday’s game. He suffered injuries to his head in the fall and was in “serious condition” at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Clark was scheduled to undergo brain surgery for his injuries on Sunday night, his brother, Jim, said, according to the report.
