Ryan Braun Speaks Publicly for First Time Since Ban, Says ‘Wedding Planning More Suspenseful Than This Situation’

ryan-braun copyIf Ryan Braun has sprouted a couple of gray hairs as of late, don’t be quick to jump to conclusions and assume the Brewers outfielder is still reeling from the Biogenesis scandal — they may very well be from the wedding he’s in the process of planning.

While helping out with a Thanksgiving food drive at Miller Park on Wednesday, Braun spoke publicly for the first time since serving his 65-game suspension, talking sparingly about the amends he has made since the fallout, apologizing plenty, but mostly expressing his desire to move on from the ugly situation in every answer he gave.

While the five-time All-Star divulged very few details during his time with the media, he did reveal one nugget about his personal life, explaining that he is not a big fan of planning a wedding. Braun even went so far as to say that the upcoming event has been far more demanding than the ban he endured and all of the repercussions that came with it.

“I think my relationships with all my friends and family have actually gotten stronger,” he said. “I don’t think it’s been overly stressful. Dealing with the wedding has been far more stressful than this situation. So, we’re doing well.”
