Tom Brady, Stevan RidleyFOXBORO, Mass. — Long ago, there was another LSU product that coughed the ball up too often.

In Kevin Faulk‘s first three years with the Patriots, he fumbled every 33.2 times he touched the ball. Through 42 games, Stevan Ridley is averaging a fumble every 58.9 touches. So, it could be worse, Patriots fans.

But eventually Faulk found a cure for his fumblitis. Faulk fumbled every 66.4 carries in the remaining 10 games of his career. Ridley’s going to find out how Faulk fixed the issue.

“I’m gonna have to talk to Faulk and see what he did,” Ridley told Comcast SportsNet. “For me, it will be something I have to change. I won’t be settled until I get it right.”

Ridley has fumbled in three straight games now. Bill Belichick did not reinsert Ridley into the Broncos matchup after his first quarter cough-up.
