Being a professional athlete in Boston has a few perks, to say the least.

A free steak dinner or two from Abe and Louie’s every now and then, perhaps? Some chowder and oysters from Union Oyster House, maybe? A few growlers on the house from the Harpoon Brewery? Not to mention unlimited cocktails from Daisy Buchanan’s. These are all pretty standard (we assume) for pro athletes in The Hub, but it’s not just good eats and tasty libations that Bruins, Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots players get to enjoy as heroes of our sports-crazed region.

Since it is Title Town, these athletes often get to enjoy championships won even if it’s not their team hoisting the hardware. The Bruins watched the Red Sox win the World Series on Wednesday night and were able to check out the trophy in person on Thursday night when they hosted the Ducks.

Check out Torey Krug posing with the Sox’ latest shiny new toy below.
