Alex Ovechkin Scores Four Goals on Six Shots in Capitals’ 6-5 Win Over Lightning (Video)

Alexander Ovechkin is a goal-scoring machine.

The Washington Capitals forward entered Tuesday’s slate of NHL games with a league-leading 22 goals, and he added four more to his total on just six shots in a 6-5 shootout win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Ovechkin’s fourth tally tied the score 5-5 with 33 seconds left in regulation. The two teams played a scoreless overtime, and then went into a shootout, where Washington winger Troy Brouwer scored the game-winner.
