FOXBORO, Mass. — Aqib Talib was born in Cleveland, but he doesn’t have any fond memories of Bill Belichick‘s old Browns teams.

“Yeah, yeah. East Cleveland, baby,” Talib said when asked if he grew up in the area. “We locked.”

Talib was not a Browns fan, despite his ties to the area.

“Nah, definitely not,” Talib answered enthusiastically. “I was a Cowboys fan.”

The Browns come to Foxboro on Sunday, and Talib may have the biggest individual challenge of anyone on the Patriots. He has to face off against Josh Gordon, who’s having a monster season despite missing two games due to a suspension. Gordon has also had a rotating cast of quarterbacks this season.

Gordon has 1,249 yards on 63 catches this season with seven touchdowns. Talib and Devin McCourty will have to be mindful of the deep ball. Gordon has 10 catches on throws over 20 yards for 381 yards and five touchdowns.
