Bruins Stretch Home Shutout Streak Against Flames to Nearly 190 Minutes With TD Garden Win (Video)

As a Western Conference team, the Calgary Flames rarely take the ice in Boston. That’s probably just fine with them.

With Tuesday night’s 2-0 win, the Bruins have now outscored Calgary 16-0 in three meetings at TD Garden under head coach Claude Julien. Calgary’s scoreless streak on the Bruins’ home rink goes back even further than that, however. The Flames have not scored a goal in Boston in the last 189 minutes and 36 seconds of playing time — the equivalent of nearly nine and a half periods.

Tuesday’s victory was the second in seven days for Jarome Iginla over his former team, and the ex-Flames captain spoke with NESN’s Jamie Erdahl afterward. Hear what he had to say in the video above.
