Everton bolstered its pursuit of a top-four finish in the Premier League on Wednesday when it earned its first Premier League victory against Manchester United at Old Trafford since 1992.

The game appeared headed for a scoreless draw until Bryan Oviedo scored off a cross from striker Romelu Lukaku with a shot from the left-edge of the six-yard box that found its way past United goalkeeper David de Gea.

The Toffees now sit in a fourth-place tie with Liverpool in the league standings with 27 points after 14 games.
