People don’t forget, Eli.
Nearly a decade after spurning the Chargers on draft day, Eli Manning continues to be heckled relentlessly whenever his Giants make a rare trip to San Diego.
The G-Men were blown out at Qualcomm Stadium on Sunday — their third loss in three meetings during Manning’s career — and Chargers fan Jose Irusta took his Manning bashing to a whole new level. Irusta, whose seat was located in the front row behind one of the end zones, came equipped with a giant poster of the quarterback’s face that had been Photoshopped to include lipstick, a blonde wig and some diamond earrings — a likeness dubbed “ShEli” by those on the Twittersphere.
“The poster says it all,” Irusta told U-T San Diego.
