After Sharks rookie Tomas Hertl scored an incredible between-the-legs goal against the New York Rangers in the first week of the season, a lot of other NHL players have tried to pull off the same move.
Blue Jackets forward Nick Foligno became the latest player to successfully score on a between-the-legs attempt when he beat Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop during the second period of Tuesday’s game in Columbus. It ended up being the game-winning goal after the Blue Jackets defended their lead in the third period.
