Cordarrelle Patterson hasn’t found the end zone much this season, so, when he did on Sunday, he made the most of his moment in the limelight.

The Vikings’ first-round pick was drafted to play wide receiver, but he has a versatile skill set that allows head coach Leslie Frazier to move him around on offense from time to time. He did just that against the Bears on Sunday, lining Patterson up in the backfield and giving him a few carries.

Patterson’s first carry of the game, and second of the season, was a huge success, too. Quarterback Christian Ponder tossed him the ball at the Bears’ 33-yard line, and the rookie did the rest, bobbing and weaving his way through the Chicago defense and down into the end zone. While the play was pretty amazing on its own, Patterson’s celebration in the end zone was equally memorable.

After celebrating his second score of the season, and first-career rushing touchdown with his teammates, Patterson turned to the officials coming in from the sideline to continue the celebration. The side judge offered up a high five at first, only to fake out Patterson by pulling his hand away at the last second. An amused Patterson laughed off the fake out and eventually convinced the official to slip him some skin.
