Someone on earth is now the proud owner of facial hair clippings that were involved in the 2013 World Series.

Darren Rovell of ESPN reports that a ball of facial hair shaved off of World Series MVP David Ortiz sold for $10,877.77  at an auction on Sunday morning. Gillette shaved Big Papi’s beard and collected the clippings, along with Shane Victorino‘s, when the two Red Sox players shaved for the first time after the 2013 season. The clippings hit the auction blocks at eBay last week, in a commemorative case along with the razor used to shave them.

Victorino’s beard went for $3,750.69. All proceeds from the auctions will go to the Movember charity, which raises awareness for prostate and testicular cancer.
