Nick FolesIt was cold, it was messy, it was Sunday football covered in snow.

Four of the NFL’s games on Sunday were impacted by winter weather, with the Eagles and Lions getting the worst of it at Lincoln Financial Field. Although the games may have been sloppy, there’s something beautiful about seeing a quarterback throw passes amid swirling snowflakes — it’s like watching your very own football snow globe.

Many players braved the frigid elements in short sleeves without batting an eye. Even though it didn’t snow in Denver, the low was 16 degrees and the Titans brought along some chicken broth and hot chocolate to warm up on the sidelines.

If the Farmers’ Almanac ends up being right, we could see some more very exciting, very snowy football on Super Bowl Sunday.
