Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux helped his team earn a much-needed win on Thursday night when he scored a stunning no-look goal on a backhand shot that beat Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Curtis McElhinney.

Giroux was actually falling to the ice while attempting the shot, but he was still able to get it on net.

It was Giroux’s second goal in a three-minute span, and it completed a stunning third-period comeback by the Flyers, who entered the final 20 minutes trailing 3-0. The victory helped Philadelphia leap over the Carolina Hurricanes into third place in the Metropolitan Division.
