He may be a rookie, but New York Giants safety Cooper Taylor is thinking like a veteran.
Taylor has found a brightside to Big Blue’s miserable season, and he’ll even be making a profit on his team’s woes come February, according to the New York Post. The defensive back is capitalizing on his team not reaching the playoffs this season by opting to rent out his New Jersey condo during Super Bowl week for $9,000.
“We thought it would be the best time to get out of the city and go on vacation because that week will be a madhouse,” said Taylor. “I am definitely disappointed that we are not playing in it. It would make it a lot more fun.”
The 22-year-old and his girlfriend don’t have any interest in sticking around MetLife Stadium, but they hope someone who procrastinated on making reservations will jump at their two-bedroom, two-bath apartment, which is located less than a mile away from the stadium.
The Giants weren’t good for much this year, but a player offering up his digs (for a hefty chunk of change) should count for something.
