You may know Hasheem Thabeet as the tallest active player in the NBA, at 7-foot-3. Or you may know him as the No. 2 pick in the 2009 draft who has scored four points, total, in three appearances this season. Or you may know him as the onetime UConn big man who is probably singularly responsible for Andre Drummond falling to the ninth pick in 2012.
But he’s also an adherent to the importance of dental health, apparently, which is why he tweeted a photo of himself in the dentist’s chair on Thursday. If Thabeet can’t light up the scoreboard, at least he can light up a room with his sparkling smile.
